Meet Blake – The Heart Behind the Scenes at HP Fitness

Blake is one of the owners behind HP Fitness. While he’s not one of the trainers and won’t be taking classes, members will often see him upstairs in the office, working hard behind the scenes. His role focuses on ensuring every member is well looked after and that the gym remains a positive, welcoming space where everyone feels supported—not just with their fitness, but also with their sense of community.


Although his work hours vary, Blake is typically the first point of contact for new members joining HP Fitness.

Blake is passionate about creating a space where people of all backgrounds and abilities feel supported, motivated, and part of something bigger than just a workout.

A bit about Blake—he’s in his early 20s and lives with a significant back injury that required two discs in his lower back to be replaced and fused. Fitness has played a huge part in helping him regain strength and return to the hobbies he loves, including fishing, motorbiking, hiking, skiing and chasing sunsets. Looking back, he often wishes he’d found fitness sooner. While it may not have prevented his surgery altogether, given the seriousness of his condition at just 19, it certainly could’ve made a difference.

Before HP Fitness, Blake spent a few years on ACC managing chronic pain. Prior to his injury, he worked in road construction, operating diggers, rollers, water trucks, and had just begun learning to use a grader. Although the injury was tough, he now sees it as a blessing in disguise—without it, HP Fitness might never have come to life.

Since launching the gym, Blake has lost nearly 20kg, thanks to Hayley's support and the expertise of the HP Fitness trainers


He’s always up for a chat—even if he’s usually on the go—so don’t hesitate to stop him and say hi. Whether you’re brand new or a long-time member, he’s always happy to hear feedback, ideas, or just have a good yarn. He genuinely loves getting to know the members and being part of their journey.


Hayley Parsons

Meet Coach Hayley – The Boss (Let’s Be Honest... The Bossy) Behind the Burn

Hayley is the Head Trainer and Co-Owner of HP Fitness — the fire, the structure, and the slightly bossy energy that keeps this place thriving.

She started coaching at just 17, driven by a mission to help people become the strongest, healthiest, and most confident version of themselves. With qualifications in Personal Training, Group Fitness, and a Diploma in Advanced Personal Training, Hayley brings a deep knowledge of movement, injury-specific training, and long-term strength development — all wrapped up in an energy that motivates you to show up and level up.

Known affectionately (and accurately) as “The Boss”, she’s got a no-nonsense approach to getting results. Whether it’s your first session or your fiftieth, Hayley’s focus is always the same:
👉 Find your challenge point — and meet you right there.
She believes real progress comes from being pushed just outside your comfort zone, and she’s right there with you every step of the way.

As the mind behind all of HP’s class programming, she’s the reason your legs are shaking after a quad finisher or your shoulders are toast after that third round of push-pulls. If the workout is especially spicy, you can be pretty confident… yep, Hayley’s behind it.

When she’s not coaching, programming, or running the show, you’ll likely find her out on a trail run, exploring the outdoors, sipping on a Starbucks, or catching up on a Netflix series. She’s all about balance — just don’t expect her to go easy on you.

With Hayley at the helm, you’re not just training harder — you’re training smarter, with a coach who’s invested in your individual growth, every single session.

Kayla Belton

Meet Coach Kayla – The Heart of Encouragement at HP Fitness

If you haven’t met her yet, let us introduce you to Kayla, one of our passionate coaches here at HP Fitness. Since joining the HP family in January, Kayla has brought endless positivity, energy, and dedication to our community — and we’ve loved every moment of having her on the team.

Known by many as “Coach Kill Them with Kindness,” she’s the kind of coach who delivers a tough workout with a smile — often gently asking members to “please go for a run” or “please do 20 burpees.” Her kindness is matched only by her commitment to helping every member grow stronger, inside and out.

Kayla’s own fitness journey hasn’t been without challenges. Living with asthma and a lung condition has given her a deep understanding of what it means to work with your body, not against it. She knows that everyone is on their own unique path, and she’s always ready to support and guide our members with compassion, patience, and unwavering belief in their potential.

Outside the gym, Kayla leads a beautifully full life. You’ll often find her chasing after her energetic toddler, watching sunrises or sunsets, sipping on a matcha, diving into a great book, flowing through yoga, or getting creative in the kitchen.

To all our new members — Coach Kayla is beyond excited to meet you, cheer you on, and help you smash your goals. With her in your corner, you’re in very good hands.

Cameron Leader

Meet Cam – HP Fitness’s Cardio King!

Say hello to Cameron – better known around HP Fitness as the Cardio King! As a former elite athlete, Cam brings a powerhouse blend of professional sports experience and academic knowledge to every session. For nearly two years, he’s been lighting up the gym with high-energy, fast-paced workouts that push members to their limits—and beyond.

Cam’s passion lies in all things cardio, speed, and agility. His sessions are more than just workouts—they’re full-throttle, feel-good experiences where sweat meets smiles. Whether you’re sprinting through drills or powering through plyometrics, Cam’s infectious enthusiasm and expert guidance ensure you give your all and have fun doing it.

Jess Reive

Jess – Bringing Combat Passion & Coaching Power to HP Fitness 🥊

With over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry, Jess is a passionate and knowledgeable coach dedicated to helping people achieve their goals—whether it’s weight loss, injury rehabilitation, sports-specific performance, or simply leading a healthier lifestyle.

Her personal fitness journey led her into the world of martial arts, where she discovered a deep love for boxing and kickboxing. After stepping into the ring and competing in both, her passion evolved into coaching. She has worked with everyone from complete beginners to seasoned fighters, delivering sessions that are high-energy, technically sharp, and confidence-boosting.

Outside the gym, Jess works with activewear brand LSKD (yes, probably your favourite 😉), staying inspired by a community focused on being 1% better every day. She brings that same mindset and motivation into every class, creating a space where progress, empowerment, and good vibes are the norm.


jenny Gollin

Meet Coach Jenny – Movement, Mindfulness & Motivation

With a passion for group fitness that started at just 15 years old, Jenny brings years of experience, energy, and expertise to the HP Fitness team. Since becoming a certified instructor in 2018, she has guided countless members on their fitness journeys — helping them find the style of training that fits their goals, challenges their limits, and keeps them coming back for more.

Jenny is a Certified Les Mills Instructor and a Qualified Yoga Instructor, with a deep love for both high-energy training and mindful movement. She believes group fitness is more than just a workout — it’s a space to switch off from the outside world, tune into your body, and reconnect with your goals.

Her coaching style blends encouragement with precision, and she’s always ready to help members discover their personal rhythm — whether that’s in a high-powered class or on the yoga mat.

When Jenny’s not teaching or working on her own strength and mobility, you’ll likely find her pursuing her other passions: conservation, animals, travel, and getting lost in a good book.

You’ll find Jenny leading Yoga on Tuesdays and alternate Sundays, creating a calm, empowering space for members to breathe, stretch, and reset.
